Plans for 92 homes in Bletchley will be considered by councillors on Thursday with a recommendation for approval.

Milton Keynes City Council planning committee’s November 6 meeting will consider plans by Hawridge Strategic Land to demolish the derelict former offices of Santander on a 1.6-hectare site on the corner of Water Eaton Road and Buckingham Road, known as Buckingham House, and replace it with a mix of 52 two, three and four-bedroom houses and 40 one and two-bedroom flats.

A total of 123 parking spaces will be provided.

The two-storey building has been vacant for more than five years since Santander relocated.

The team on the project includes Handforth Heritage as heritage consultant, CDS Planning as planning consultant and W J Macleod Architects on design.
