Green Park has celebrated its two new cafes.
The Switch Café opened in October while The Street Bakeshop has just opened. Both now operate in Lime Square.
Premium artisan bakery and coffee shop, The Street Bakeshop is its third venue while breakfast and brunch specialist The Switch is its second location.
Henry Harrison, vice president, asset management, UK for Green Park owner Mapletree, said: “We’re excited to expand Green Park’s food offering with the addition of both The Street Bakeshop and The Switch Café.
“We have great amenities in Reading and wanted to bring that local café culture into the park as part of our placemaking, sustainability and local impact commitment, while offering even more great places for everyone on the park – and beyond – to grab a coffee, a pastry and connect.”
Tim Goodwin, founder of The Street Bakeshop (pictured), said: “Green Park was an obvious choice for our third location, offering not just an exceptional customer community – from within the park and the wider local area – but a truly impressive backdrop.
“We’ve made no secret of our ambition to be a destination bakery, and we’re looking forward to sharing everything Street Bakeshop has to offer with our new neighbours here on Green Park and from across the whole Reading area.”
