SEGRO has agreed a 10-year lease with existing occupier ATC to take a 20,210 sq ft unit at on the Slough Trading Estate.
The firm specialises in the installation of servers into data centres in addition to cargo handling for land transport activities. Its new home at 160 Edinburgh Road is intended to better serve its clients, including data centre operators on the estate.
The highly sustainable building includes:
- Smart building sensors for energy-efficient operation
- Solar panels
- LED lighting
- A 55 sq m living wall on the front of the building
- Air source heat pump
- Water reducing products throughout
- Photocatalytic paint on all wall surfaces
- EV charging points
- Secure bicycle parking with green roofs and wildlife habitat panels
- Additional bird and bat boxes and insect habitats
