The Horlicks Quarter, a development from Berkeley Homes, will be hosting Trunks Across The Thames, a public art trail organised by Thames Hospice to raise funds.
Berkeley Homes will be one of the main sponsors of the event this summer, and as a result have decided to host Hope the elephant, the lead sculpture in the campaign at Horlicks temporarily, as part of Hopes art includes the iconic Horlicks chimney, after this Hope will be relocated to Slough High street for the official art trail.
There will be 30 unique elephant sculptures displayed across Slough and Windsor in the style of a walking trail, active for nine weeks across the summer, each sculpture will be decorated by professional artists, and Berkeley’s’ opportunity to host the lead sculpture in one of its growing developments has been well received.

Ben Ivey, managing director, Berkeley Homes (Oxford and Chiltern), said “We’re delighted that our chosen elephant is Hope, the lead sculpture in the Trunks Across the Thames trail, designed by local artist Jessica Garrett
“Her design celebrates many of the well-known landmarks across Slough and Windsor. While Hope will ultimately take pride of place on Slough High Street during the campaign, we were thrilled to welcome her to Horlicks Quarter this week to visit the iconic Horlicks Factory Chimney, which features in her design.”
