The Oxfordshire-based future mobility estate has made the appointment to strengthen leadership as its 444-acre project continues to grow.

Mr Parker joins from JLL, where he spent over 16 years, most recently having held the position of national director of strategic asset management. As a chartered surveyor, Mr Parker has advised on and led complex property and portfolio strategies across many sectors.

Jonty Ashworth, development director at Bicester Motion will work closely with Mr Parker, as the pair will jointly drive the real estate element of the estate, they will be reporting to Daniel Geoghegan, chief executive officer.

Mr Parker said that he was ‘excited’ to join the team, aiming to “unlock the full potential of its property assets in support of the wider business”. Mr Geoghegan said that Mr Parker would be “an outstanding addition to our leadership team”, and that his role would be ‘pivotal’ going forward.

Bicester Motion is home to an assortment of businesses, including Motorsport UK and fuel manufacturer Zero, that collectively contribute more than £500 million to the UK economy. YASA, a leading developer in electric motor technology and a subsidiary of Mercedes Benz, will relocate to a bespoke section of Bicester Motion this year.
