Blenheim Estate Homes has launched its most energy efficient properties yet.

The housebuilder and its development partner Pye Homes have announced the launch of Hill Rise, a scheme of 180 two, three and four-bedroom properties in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. Forty-eight of the units are currently under construction.

Blenheim says the homes are being created with wellbeing, sustainability and community at the forefront of their design.

As well as solar panels at every home, there will be air source heat pumps and EV charging. Community allotments and shared parking barns will be created.

The scheme, which picked up an accolade in the 2024 Housing Design Awards, will have landscaping by local design consultancy Nicholsons, walking and cycling routes along existing public rights of way from Hill Rise to central Woodstock and Blenheim Park and there will be a 50 per cent proportion of affordable homes. Some areas will have pedestrian-only access.

Danielle Simpson, sales director for Pye Homes, said: “Hill Rise is a fantastic next step forward for Blenheim Estate Homes and Pye Homes, as it will be the most energy-efficient homes we have created to date, setting new standards for low-carbon housing.

“With landscaping being such a priority, Hill Rise is so much more than a housing development – it’s a great opportunity for buyers to live close to nature and join a wonderful new community.”
