Hartnell Taylor Cook has appointed David North as the new managing partner, with the outgoing Stuart Howell stepping down after 12 years in the position.
Effective from November 1, David will lead the Bristol-headquartered property consultancy after spending 25 years in its agency and asset management departments.
The independent property consultancy has offices in Bristol and London and has a turnover of £10.6 million per annum.
David North said: “My first professional role after I graduated was with Hartnell Taylor Cook in 2000. After a huge amount of support and mentoring here I am, 25 years later, about to become managing partner – and I couldn’t be more honoured.
“This business is a truly special place, powered by a group of incredible, hard-working people and I am immensely grateful to them for trusting me to lead us into a brilliant future.
“Thank you, Stuart, for leading the charge these past years; the business is in the best shape it’s ever been and I look forward to working with everyone to deliver even greater results for our company and clients.”
Stuart Howell, managing partner at Hartnell Taylor Cook, added: “I’m proud to be stepping down with the business in such good shape. There is no one better placed for the managing partner role than David. His quarter century of experience with the company, commitment to excellence and proven track record makes him the perfect choice to lead Hartnell Taylor Cook. I’m very pleased that I am able to hand over the reins to such a worthy successor.”
Howell will remain part of the senior management team, focussing on developing the firm’s property and asset management clients.
