In a unanimous decision, the Ealing Council Planning Committee has granted planning permission to develop a nine-storey mixed-use, co-living building on Broadway, West Ealing, for 134 occupants.
The proposal is for:
A building stepped from 4 to 9 storeys, it comprises 134 co-living units (Sui Generis) and associated communal amenity facilities, including co-working space, kitchens, dining areas, lounge, quiet area, and games space, an outdoor podium-level terrace, and ground-floor commercial accommodation to be a café open to the public; and associated refuse storage and cycle parking.
This replaces a previously approved proposal for 94 co-living units.
The applicant is UK Lux One SPV 13 Ltd (Luxgrove Capital Partners), and the architect practice for the proposals is MAA Architects, which is responsible for the design and landscape proposals for the site. Savills provides town planning expertise, and James Brown Ltd has provided viability expertise.
