Carter Jonas has been instructed by South Cambridgeshire District Council to take on the role of Cambourne Business Park’s managing agent.
The appointment follows South Cambridgeshire District Council’s 2021 acquisition of the entire share capital of Cambourne Business Park Limited, a deal that Carter Jonas also advised on.
The Business Park, which located in the heart of the Cambridge-Oxford Growth Corridor and only ten miles from Cambridge, comprises 350,000 sq ft of office space in eight buildings, set within 55 acres of attractive landscaped grounds.
The growing Business Park provides infrastructure for over 1,000 office employees, approximately 65 per cent of which are in the tech sector.
Kurt Richards, partner, commercial at Carter Jonas Cambridge, said: “Carter Jonas was very pleased to take on the management of this popular facility as Council’s retained Investment and Asset Manager. There are some exciting plans on the horizon for Cambourne Business Park and we look forward to being involved. Against the backdrop of lakes, tree-lined pathways, walking routes along nearby nature trails and proximity to shops, the business park really stands out as a fantastic working environment.
“This instruction represents another valuable asset in our property & asset management team’s portfolio as we continue to build one of the largest teams of management surveyors in Cambridge.”
