CBRE has hired former JLL surveyors Nic Rumble and Martha Freer to join its development advisory team in Bristol.
Rumble has joined as a senior director and brings more than eight years of director-level experience from JLL, where he specialised in residential development.
CBRE said his appointment reflects its “ambition to field senior talent capable of advising on the full spectrum of living sector opportunities across the region”.
Freer, joining as a senior surveyor, has expertise in development financial viability and appraisals.
Tom Morris, managing director for CBRE Midlands and South West, said: “We’ve seen a clear increase in demand for development advice across the South West, particularly within the living sectors.
“By expanding our team with specialists in land and financial viability, we’re able to offer clients a genuinely joined‑up service, from early stage strategy through to delivery.
“This is a significant step forward for our Bristol and South West development offering.”
The consultancy relocated its South West office to the EQ building in Bristol in October last year.
