Independent property developer and investor Turnstone Estates has appointed Charlie Clark as an associate in its development team.
Charlie joins from Carter Jonas where he spent seven years in the Commercial Agency team in Cambridge. During his time at Carter Jonas, Charlie had a particular focus on industrial and warehouse schemes. His work included acquisitions, leasing, sales, investment and development consultancy for clients such as Royal Mail, South Cambridgeshire District Council, Trinity Hall College and Downing College.
Charlie said: “Turnstone has built a strong reputation for high-quality, well-considered development across the region, and I am delighted to be joining such an experienced team. I am particularly looking forward to expanding Turnstone’s footprint in the industrial and mixed-use sectors across the East of England.”
At Turnstone, Charlie will be supporting delivery of the company’s Bedford Interchange South scheme. This is a mixed commercial development close to the proposed Universal Studios site which will deliver 260 new jobs and generate £20m to Bedford’s economy.
Tim Deacon, managing director at Turnstone Estates, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Charlie to the team having successfully worked together on projects in the past. He is a pleasure to work with, and we know he will provide the expertise and attention to detail that Turnstone Estates is known for, with a focus on identifying new industrial and mixed-use opportunities across the East of England.”
