Locally managed housing association CHP has recently taken handover of their first traditional build properties in at Tamage Road in Acton, Suffolk.
The development is comprised of a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments and houses all available for shared ownership and affordable rent.
All 35 properties on the development will be managed by CHP; 10 will be shared ownership and will be 25 for affordable rent. The development also includes a children’s play area along with an area of public open space.
Mid Suffolk & Babergh District Council will nominate customers to live in the affordable rent properties.
Carl Hockey, growth and partnership director at CHP said: “We are delighted to have taken handover of our first properties in Suffolk. We have partnered with Bloor Homes to provide these much-needed affordable homes as we branch out across the eastern region to help tackle the housing crisis”.
