K7 Renovations has been appointed to fit out a new Loungers bar in Farnborough.

Rushmoor Borough Council’s cabinet agreed to appoint an Aldershot-based contractor for the works at the council-owned unit at 16-18 The Meads.

The new bar is part of the council’s plans to put new life into Farnborough.

Cllr Julie Hall, cabinet lead for economy, skills and regeneration at Rushmoor Borough Council, said: “Identifying K7 Renovations, a local business, as our preferred contractor for these preparatory works enables us to get this project firmly off the ground and quickly.

“I know that when people walk past an empty shop progress isn’t always obvious, but I want to reassure residents that a lot of work is, and has been, taking place behind the scenes.

“Investment in this project signals our continued commitment to transforming the town centre, improving the retail environment for residents, and creating the right conditions for businesses to thrive.”
