David Barden has become regional managing partner for the Thames Valley for Vail Williams.
The appointment of Mr Barden (pictured) is one of record numbers of both promotions and new recruits for the property consultancy in its 35-year history. He replaces David Thomas who spent seven years in the role.
In total the firm has made 13 promotions and recruited 32 new staff in the last financial year, bringing the total workforce to 172 across its 11 offices which includes those at Woking, Reading (Thames Valley office) and Heathrow.
Also in our region, Sus Lopez-Garcia has also become a partner in Surrey, while James Newton (Thames Valley) Andrew Soane (Surrey) and Nicki Rought (Surrey) have become senior surveyors. Becca Houghton has become surveyor (level 1) at the Thames Valley office.
Managing partner Matthew Samuel-Camps said: “Our commercial and residential consultancy services continue to grow apace, with the record number of promotions and headcount a reflection of the demand from clients for advisory excellence.
“Congratulations are in order for the newly promoted and new joiners as we look to the start of the new financial year with confidence, zest and ambition; growth opportunities abound.”
He added: “It’s also important to underline our continuing commitment to training our staff and to developing the stars of the future – attracting top talent, and investing in them, is hugely important to us here at Vail Williams.
“This is embodied through Investors in People Gold re-accreditation, our transparent journey to net zero by 2030, volunteering days and other learning and development initiatives.”
