With associated highways works, and landscaping works along Western Avenue.

The development will be built on land that has been vacant for almost 4O years.

The proposals include:

  • 209 private dwellings
  • 46 intermediate shared ownership dwellings (117 habitable rooms)
  • 45 London affordable rent dwellings (174 habitable rooms)

The proposed offer comprises 35 per cent affordable housing by habitable rooms with a total of 291 habitable rooms within 91 dwellings.

A public footpath has been created through the middle of the development which will be closed at certain times.

The development has seen the height of the towers reduced following consultation. The tallest buildings will be along the Western Avenue (A40) opposite the redeveloped Holiday Inn and One Portal Way  on the North side covered here.
