A familiar face from the past among Reading’s business community joined guests for the first post-pandemic Summer garden party, put on by Thames Tap partner Blandy & Blandy.
Former chairman Richard Griffiths (pictured left with current chairman and partner Nick Burrows), was among more than 200 guests and colleagues at the event at the firm’s Friar Street offices on June 9. Another former chairman, Brenda Long, was also among those attending.
Mr Burrows said: “We were absolutely delighted to welcome so many clients and friends of the firm to our first garden party since 2019.
“Given the difficulties of the last couple of years, it was great to be able to chat to people in person, to catch up with our clients and professional contacts and certainly we were pleased that all those attending seemed to enjoy the opportunity to get together.”
