Blandy & Blandy has announced that senior associate solicitor in the commercial property team Gemma Stephenson is to become a partner.

Gemma joined Blandy & Blandy in 2014, having qualified as a solicitor in September 2012. She became an associate solicitor in 2017 and a senior associate solicitor in January 2022. Her partner role will begin on July 1.

Her commercial property experience includes commercial leases and the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold property (acting for landlords, tenants and investors) and property finance. She is recommended in the UK’s leading guides to law firms, Chambers UK and The Legal 500.

She becomes the third partner in the team, alongside team head Katja Wigham and John Dingle.

Gemma said: “I am delighted to have been promoted to partner and I look forward to furthering my contribution to the commercial property team and the wider firm whilst embracing the challenges of my new role.”

Blandy & Blandy celebrated its busiest ever Summer Garden Party on June 6.
