Howard Group has agreed a five-year lease on office space at its Langford Arch scheme in Cambridge to Granta Medical Practices (GMP).
The deal for 5,767 sq ft of space allows the primary care provider to establish a new centre for coordinating and screening emergency service calls, following the award of a new NHSE contract. Its new space will also accommodate staff relocating from its centre at Sawston.
GMP is one of a number of healthcare businesses to join Langford Arch, which is next to Howard Group’s flagship science and technology hub, Unity Campus.
Fred Murphy, asset manager of the Howard Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Granta Medical Practices to Langford Arch. It offers the perfect location for GMP to continue delivering essential healthcare services, and we look forward to seeing them thrive as part of our people-centred, science-focused environment.”
Tim Harrison, chief executive of Granta Medical Practices, said: “Moving to Langford Arch is the next stage in the development of GMP.
“In the modern world of primary care, we cannot be constrained by our existing physical estate. Unity Campus is an exciting development and is ideal for this next step for a growing local business.”
