The Padel Hub has opened its latest venue at an industrial site in Reading.

The hub has leased 24,954 sq ft at B1 – B3 Kenavon Drive from Viridis Real Estate for Reading’s first dedicated indoor site for the sport and the company’s fifth site.

The site has five courts and a gym which has been provided by Technogym and a café/bar area.

Padel Hub has sites in Slough, Crawley, North London and Epsom and is fast expanding to more locations.

Charles Winterton, Padel Hub chief executive and founder, said: “We are thrilled to bring The Padel Hub to such a fantastic location in Reading.

“Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where people can enjoy padel, improve their skills and connect with fellow padel enthusiasts.”

Shaun Rogerson from Knight Frank, which advised Viridis Real Estate on the letting alongside Haslams Surveyors, said: “I was delighted to be invited to visit one of the Padel Hub’s existing centres at Albion Close, Slough, which had training sessions and matches taking place on all five of their bespoke padel courts.

“There was a great fun atmosphere at this club and I now appreciate why padel courts are in such high demand. I am sure that a new club at Kenavon Drive will be hugely impressive and successful.”
