Thames Tap partner Kier has issued a reminder of the firm’s presence in the region after the closure of its Reading office.
The construction services and property company had opened an office at Building 1410 at Arlington Business Park last year but has now closed it and moved the management of its ongoing Thames Valley projects to other centres.
Operations manager Andy Jones, who is the new Valley Voice for Thames Tap, issued the following statement: “Following an extensive review of our workload and pipeline of opportunities we have made the decision to close our Reading office from 31st March 2020.
“Kier will continue to have a strong operational presence in Reading and the five ongoing projects in the area will be managed from our other regional building offices in Maple Cross and Gloucester.
“The Thames Valley area continues to be a focus of future opportunities both with existing and new clients.”
Kier contacts in the area are Andy Jones (operations manager) and Ian Kilvington (regional business development manager).
