Unearthing rural property news and views in the East of England, Thames Valley, and West London.
The relationship between land and property is being rapidly being redefined.
The uncomfortable truth is that TV series such as the Amazon Diddly Squat: A Year on the Farm and BBC Countryfile have shone a bright light on the many issues facing rural communities.
The big issues in this growing sector include how can farmers engage and maximise value from the property, what are the planning issues facing rural communities towards new developments, can new developments such as vertical farming and farm shops add value, what are the issues around biodiversity net-gain for the property sector, what are the latest developments in the renewable energy sector and so the list goes on.
The website pages for Land & Estates have been designed to show these issues in more detail under the following headers.Â
These include planning, land sales, renewable energy, nature-based solutions, and estate management.
We intend to populate the pages on a regular basis and to keep the reader informed with the latest News and Views.
This new section of The Forum will complement the more urban news and views currently featured in the journal.
As a consequence, we intend to create a platform for our readers, editorial board, and sponsors to join and be able to upload their news and views.
We do hope that you find this of relevance and look forward to hearing your comments and suggestions.
