Campbell Gordon has sold the former Loddon Bridge Park & Ride site in Winnersh for an undisclosed sum.

The four-acre site closed in 2015 when it was replaced with a new park & ride close to Winnersh Triangle Station.

Names of neither buyer nor seller have been disclosed but Thames Tap understand the buyer is a local construction business.

Campbell Gordon has worked closely with the seller in recognition of what it describes as ‘challenges the site presented’. During the site’s time as a park & ride it was frequently closed due to flooding.

Jake Booth, associate director at Campbell Gordon, said: “This has been a really interesting sale to advise on. It is well-know that the site floods, but it also has almost unrivalled motorway access and a high quality surface.

“At the same time, we have also seen the value of industrial and storage land surging and setting record values as there is an acute shortage of these types of sites. As a result, when we took it to market we found strong demand.”
