Plans for a logistics hub at Thatcham have been submitted by Thames Valley Police.
The service has applied to West Berkshire Council, via Atkins, to build a three-storey, 7,800 sq m building on 4.2 hectares of land east of Goddards Road and No 2 Gables Way, next to the Colthrop Industrial Estate.
It will include offices, labs and a yard and will have a separate garage and storage building of 1,300 sq m.
Grounds around the buildings will be landscaped with new trees and other hedgerows and plants.
The application proposes 349 parking spaces plus 20 for visitors. There will be around 60 cycle parking spaces.
