Plans for a commercial and life sciences park at Faringdon have been submitted to Vale of White Horse District Council.
The outline application by De Montalt Life Sciences is for a flexible scheme of up to 42,286 sq m of commercial space for use as class E(g) i (offices), and/or, E(g)(ii) (research and development), and/or, E(g)(ii) (light industrial), and/or B2 (general industrial), and/or B8 (storage and distribution) plus ancillary uses at the 9.73-hectare former Wicklesham Quarry.
The site, which lies within the Wicklesham and Coxwell Pits site of special scientific interest, has been restored to agricultural land.
The Kendall Kingscott-designed BioGenia campus will feature seven buildings, a data centre and two multi-storey car parks.
