MCR Property Group have submitted plans to convert the former Feltham Magistrates Court in residential use. The building was originally erected in 1902 as Feltham Town Hall and then converted into the Magistrates building in 2013.

The proposal sought permission for 28 homes, including 9 affordable intermediate tenure homes, by converting the existing locally listed Magistrates Court Building and erecting in two new buildings up to three storeys in height, with associated landscaping and parking.  The design of the development would preserve and enhance the character and appearance of the conservation area and would not harm neighbours living conditions or give rise to any significant concerns in terms of impact on the local highways network. The proposed flats would provide an acceptable standard of accommodation in a sustainable location.

Planning approval was recommended subject to conditions and the satisfactory negotiation of a legal agreement.
