Milton Park, the Oxfordshire-based single ownership community, has seen its ninth retailer arrive at its Signal Yard development, with the arrival of independent operator Bros Barbers.
Bros Barbers has taken the ground floor retail unit at 9a Park Square, Signal Yard, totalling 922 sq. ft, the company was founded by Ali Ahmedov and his brother Asen.
Ali arrived in Oxfordshire in 2016, coming from Bulgaria. He started working in kitchens whilst learning English but retrained as a barber that year by completing an apprenticeship in Didcot. Over time Ali built a strong client base, before opening his first premises in 2021, at the Orchard Centre in Didcot.
The move to Milton Park demonstrates the Park’s ongoing commitment to supporting independent businesses and creating opportunities for them within their commercial environment.
The barbershop will join a growing lineup at Signal Yard, including Apollo Pharmacy, Flex Health Hub, and Milton Post office. Designed as a community-focused amenity hub for Milton Park’s workforce and local residence, Signal Yard will feature green spaces, EV charging bays, on-site parking and secure cycle storage.
