Thames Tap Partner Mobius has won this year’s British Council of Offices’ NextGen PropTech Company of the Year award.
The awards ceremony, which took place virtually on November 12, celebrated the achievements and successes in the commercial property sector across the UK over the last year.
The PropTech Company of The Year award recognises the use of immersive technology in the commercial real estate market and celebrates and recognises organisations that have driven technology innovation over the last year. The award was voted for by members of the BCO.
Kevin Lancaster, Mobius managing director, said: “This year, more than ever, it is important to reflect on successes within our industry and it is so exciting to be recognised for our digital twin approach to commercial design and build.
“We look forward to working with our clients as they look to re-purpose their real estate for the new-normal of hybrid working in 2021.”
Immersive technology is central to the work of Mobius. Its aim is to enhance and ease the customers’ experience at all stages of the design and build process and has been in particular demand throughout Covid-19 restrictions.
Mobius now offers 360 degree ‘guided tours’ where agents can virtually walk their clients through a scheme on a video call.
