Plans have been submitted for a £55 million development at Suffolk Business Park.
Churchmanor Estates has submitted a full planning application to West Suffolk Council for the construction of seven new business units on Zone 1 of the park, which is on the eastern edge of Bury St Edmunds at J45 of the A14.
The proposed scheme will create 217,000 sq ft across 16 acres. The proposed buildings will provide space for light industrial use, storage, research and development and office-based employment and are designed to attract wide ranging, growing businesses to the region.
The site sits next to the award-winning Avant Tecno UK headquarters, completed by Churchmanor last year.
The new application includes proposals for green landscaping, cycle paths and sustainable building features.
Matt Cloke, development director for Churchmanor Estates, said: “We’re proud to be investing further in Bury St Edmunds. This new phase will support local employment, attract innovative companies and help secure long-term prosperity for the local community.”
