Abrdn’s plans to replace an 8,000 sq m building with another at Suttons Business Park have been unanimously approved.

Wokingham Borough Council’s planning committee voted through the plans on Wednesday, May 10, which will mean one building, comprising units 31, 32 and 33 in Suttons Park Avenue (pictured), is replaced with a new building for use classes B2 (general industrial) and B8 (storage and distribution).

The new structure will be have a fractionally smaller footprint but will be taller so the cubic capacity is greater.

The number of parking spaces will increase from 99 to 129.

The application is a tweaked version of a previous scheme which was consented in 2018. The new scheme received no objections from consultees or neighbours.
