Tech firm Navtech Radar has taken a 6,500 sq ft industrial unit at Grove Business Park in Wantage.
The firm, based in Ardington, also in Wantage, has agreed a five-year lease on Unit A1 at the new GBP1 development in a deal agreed during lockdown by Duncan May of VSL & Partners.
Navtech Radar, which provides sensors for uses which include security surveillance, road safety systems and industrial autonomous vehicles, will operate from both locations.
Philip Avery of NavTech Radar said: “Taking on this new facility will enable us to meet the increasing global demand for our high-performance solutions in markets such as highways, security and industrial automation.”
Mr May said five units have already been occupied at GBP1 within a year of completion.
He added: “Take up has been driven by the high-tech sector and there is only 3,300 sq ft available in A Block at unit A2. Four units remain available within C block of 2,000 sq ft per unit.”
Grove Business Park’s masterplan includes eight acres with detailed planning consent where plots are available to purchase as either development or design and build opportunities.
A 20,000 sq ft hybrid building known as the Quadrangle, offering a mix of office and industrial space, is currently under refurbishment.
