Property development company Jaynic has appointed Paul Sutton as planning director.
Mr Sutton has over 40 years of experience in town planning and has dealt extensively in both the public and private sectors; his former position was director and head of planning in Strutt & Parker’s Cambridge office.
Managing Director, Nic Rumsey, said “It is great to have Paul on board as planning director. He has been advising us for several years and recently has had great success in helping us to win a planning appeal for up to 155 houses on our site at Haverhill, as well as obtaining consent for 2.45m sq ft of innovation, business, and logistics space at Gateway 14 in Stowmarket.
The considerable success we have had over the last 18 months in signing up occupiers at Suffolk Park as well as agreeing deals with landowners for possible future schemes in East Anglia, has resulted in significant growth in our business and bringing Paul on board as a permanent member of the team makes perfect sense”
Mr Sutton said, “it’s fantastic to be working with such a great team and I am looking forward to achieving positive planning outcomes on several major new projects that are in the pipeline.”
Jaynic currently has nine active sites across East Anglia, with two million sq ft of logistics, business and innovation space already delivered, with a further 8.39 million sq ft in the pipeline or awaiting planning decisions.
