A 54,000 sq ft office building in Maidenhead could be converted to self-storage use under plans submitted to the council.
Eurasia House at Concorde Park in Concorde Road, a mile and a half outside the town centre, has been empty since 2023. The 1980s building, initially an industrial unit, was later converted to offices and used by GSK Services.
Now Vanguard Storage Services has applied to the Royal Borough to convert the three-storey building to create a B8 storage and distribution unit for self-storage. The plans involve retaining 116 parking spaces and 48 cycle spaces.
EV charging and solar panels will be added.
The team on the project includes NTA Planning, Oxford Architects and TTP Consulting on transport planning.
