Plans for up to 65 homes on land at Stokenchurch have been recommended for approval.
Land & Partners’ proposals for developing 3.68 hectares of agricultural land south of Mill Lane go before Buckinghamshire Council’s west area planning committee on Wednesday, September 24.
The scheme, drawn up by BHP Harwood architects, which includes homes from one to five bedrooms, proposes a 48 per cent proportion of affordable homes.
The site falls outside the Green Belt but within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which covers the whole of the village of Stokenchurch.
A total 93 objections were received and the local NHS has objected unless a developer contribution of £61,357 is made to pay for additional health provision.
Its objection states: “The proposed development of 65 dwellings will increase the population by an estimated 163.
“This will impact on primary health care infrastructure as there is insufficient capacity to accommodate the additional patients. For the avoidance of doubt, the impact of this development cannot be absorbed by the nearby GP practices.”
