Richborough Estates has submitted plans for up to 99 homes on land at Caversfield, Oxfordshire.

The outline application to Cherwell District Council is to demolish a farmhouse and equine buildings on the 6.9-hectare agricultural site, west of Fringford Road for a scheme of 64 market homes and 35 affordable.

The site, just over a mile north of Bicester town centre, was the subject of a previous plan for up to 200 homes which was thrown out on appeal in 2014.

The homes proposed, which could have up to five bedrooms, will include heat pumps, solar panels and EV chargers.

The team on the project includes Planning Prospects, edge Urban Design and Hub Transport Planning.
