The second in a new series of UKPF property podcasts is now available. UKPF managing director Matthew Battle and editor-in-chief Alan Bunce will be questioning a variety of figures in the property world from both public and private sector as well as elected members at local authorities under our podcast brand Battle & Bunce.
Cllr Tony Page, deputy leader of Reading Borough Council was the second guest on our podcast, speaking about all things Reading – offering a unique experience of the town having been a councillor for 50 years.
He openly speaks about his life as a councillor, from how it started aged 19 to today and how the town should, in his eyes, be a city and should be competing with the likes of Oxford and Cambridge in the wider European discussion.
Cllr Page shares his views on Reading topics including the hospital move, a third bridge on the river, transport networks, and gives an unfiltered opinion on the happenings of the town in recent years – including why Reading isn’t experiencing the same troubles as Oxford currently is when it comes to transport!
The Battle & Bunce podcast is available on all major podcast platforms or here.
