Pop culture brand Miniso has signed a 10-year lease and will occupy a 2,300 sq ft unit at Bristol’s Cribbs shopping centre.

Meanwhile, US footwear and apparel brand Skechers will upsize to a new 4,700 sq ft unit after signing a 10-year lease as it commits its future to Cribbs.

Katie Searle, director, asset management, at Sovereign Centros from CBRE, said: “The arrival of MINISO and Skechers upsize comes as we continue to evolve the retail line-up at Cribbs to ensure we cater for our growing GenZ audience.

“Innovative and growing brands such as Miniso and Skechers are queueing up to join our line-up at Cribbs thanks to us having the second largest catchment of all UK regional malls.

Saad Usman, chief operating officer at Miniso UK, added: “Opening at Cribbs Causeway is an exciting step for MINISO UK as we continue to expand our presence nationwide.

“Cribbs’ dynamic and fast-growing customer base makes it the ideal location for our next store, and we’re delighted to bring our fun, pop culture products to such a vibrant retail destination.

“We’ve created a joyful, imaginative space designed to appeal to Gen Z and Alpha, while also welcoming Millennial families, and we can’t wait to welcome shoppers through our doors.”

During 2025, Cribbs reported a 13 per cent growth in Gen Z shoppers, with 36 per cent of total spending coming from younger shoppers, outperforming the regional mall average of 30 per cent.

Time Retail Partners and Cushman & Wakefield are retained letting agents for the centre, with Green & Partners retained in the leasing advisory role.
