Pye Homes has appointed Martin Brown, previously with McCarthy Stone, as new managing director.
With 20 years’ experience in the housebuilding industry across companies like Dandara and Linden Homes, and almost a decade working in senior positions at McCarthy Stone, Martin has decided to take on the role at the Oxfordshire-based housebuilder, which will celebrate its 100th year in 2027.
Martin has been leading the business since early January and is described as experienced in land acquisition, strategy and delivery. He is looking to uphold the strength and reputation the company has established over 98 years.
He points to Pye Homes’s eight year partnership with the Blenheim Estate as an example of the high standard of business the company has been involved with.
Future plans
The firm also intends to expand under its new leadership. Martin said: “Our plan is to grow the business through offering attractive and innovative housing that is also exceptionally sustainable.”
