Savills Peterborough has appointed Judy Holmes as director in its estate management team.

Judy is both a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV). She has more than 16 years of experience working in the rural sector across agricultural, residential and commercial property.

Her work has previously spanned strategic land management, valuation for tax and litigation, advice on compulsory purchase compensation and complex multi-landowner renewable energy schemes.

Judy said: “The opportunity to work alongside such a respected group of professionals and contribute to the continued success of our rural clients is incredibly exciting. I’m particularly looking forward to working with existing clients and building new relationships that support long term goals.”

Judy joins from Berrys and has previously held positions at Godfrey-Payton Chartered Surveyors, Chesterton Humberts and Samuel Rose.

She read Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University and also holds a Diploma in Law from De Montfort University.

Judy sits on the Council of the Midland Counties Agricultural Valuers Association and is a member of the Agricultural Law Association.
