Savills has secured two retail leases on properties close to the centre of Peterborough.

On behalf of Cannoncourt, the property advisor has agreed new leases at 32 and 33 Long Causeway in Peterborough to Smoknic and Morley’s Outdoor and Workwear, respectively.

Clothing shop Morley will occupy 2,137 sq ft, across ground and first floors at no 33 (pictured) while electronic cigarette company Smoknic has taken 645 sq ft in a single floor at 32 over a five-year term.

Both units are close to other key attractions in the centre including Queensgate Shopping Centre and Cathedral Square. Nearby occupiers include Boots, Metro Bank, Wagamama’s, Burger King and Café Nero.

James Anderson, in the commercial agency team at Savills Peterborough, said: “Long Causeway is a prime retail location and both Morley’s and Smoknic can expect to benefit from the footfall of Queensgate shopping centre and the city centre.

“Smoknic is expanding into Peterborough while Morley’s is upsizing from their space in Hereward Cross.”
