The new offices of Savills in Reading went on display when scores of staff and clients gathered for the official opening.

After 10 years in the town, Savills has moved its 30-strong team to One Forbury Square. Guests toured the newly fitted-out 3,704 sq ft space at the March 30 event and heard from both head of Savills Reading Phil Brown and managing director of Savills UK, Richard Rees.

Mr Brown told guests: “It is a pleasure to welcome clients and colleagues to our new home at Forbury Square and to celebrate our 10-year anniversary in Reading. People make our business what it is and we are privileged to boast an incredible team here and to be supported by a fantastic wider network, including many loyal clients.”

Mr Rees said: “I am delighted to be here to mark this important moment for Savills Reading. The team has come a long way – starting as a small, specialist team and growing to become the dynamic multi-disciplinary business it is today. The design and fit-out of the office is a great success and I have no doubt the team will be welcoming clients here for many years to come.”

The new office was designed by KKS Savills Design Studio. It features a striking reception area, open plan workspace, collaboration areas, break-out spaces, quiet rooms, including a wellness room, and two large meeting rooms that can be reconfigured to provide a 40-person training suite.”

Specialist teams at the new base include residential development sales, residential lettings, planning, development, valuation and occupier services.
