Councillors in Slough have unanimously approved SEGRO’s plans for a seven-storey building which will have a mix of commercial uses.
Slough Borough Council’s planning committee supported the scheme at its December 15 meeting.
The 26,253 sq m building, in Liverpool Road on the Slough Trading Estate, will accommodate offices, light industrial, general industrial and storage and distribution space, in addition to a café on the ground floor and parking on the ground and first floors.
Jessica Evans, associate planner with Barton Willmore, representing SEGRO, told the meeting: “The development will add diversity to the estate, given the size of the units and the ability to use them flexibly through sub-division.”
The 0.74-hectare site is currently occupied by two old industrial units.
