Taylor Wimpey UK has taken 8,238 sq ft at Tristan Capital Partners’ refurbished The Dock office building in Kings Langley.

The housebuilder has signed a 10-year lease on space on the lower ground floor of the 47,786 sq ft building to use as its regional hub for Taylor Wimpey North Thames.

The Grade A office building has BREEAM Excellent and EPC B as well as AirScore Gold and WiredScore Gold.

Guy Bishop, director at Alchemy Asset Management, said: “It is great to secure such a recognised name in Taylor Wimpey as a new tenant at The Dock. We are finding that the building is attracting strong interest from occupiers looking for sustainability-led, Grade A, well-located, modern workspaces which help them to retain and attract talent and The Dock provides this in an attractive setting by the Grand Union Canal.

“This recent letting to Taylor Wimpey is testament to this and we look forward to announcing further new arrivals in due course.”

Lambert Smith Hampton and Brasier Freeth represented Alchemy Asset Management and Tristan Capital Partners. Knight Frank acted for Taylor Wimpey.
