Technology company Arm has signed a deal for around 95,000 sq ft at The Optic building at British Land’s Peterhouse Technology Park in Cambridge.

The company already occupies 330,000 sq ft in the six buildings at Peterhouse Technology Park.

The Optic, which is scheduled for completion in February, comprises office and lab-enabled space and a 2,500 sq ft roof terrace.

Michael Wiseman, head of workspace leasing and science and technology for British Land, said: “Arm is a globally significant business and its commitment to expand in Cambridge and the UK demonstrates the strength of our tech ecosystems and the growing demand for high specification offices and lab spaces in the Cambridge area.

“The UK, particularly the Golden Triangle, is ideally suited to support the growth of the world’s top innovation firms, like Arm, due to its world class academic and research institutions and deep pool of talent. We are incredibly proud of what we have delivered at The Optic; the building is a strong reflection of our ability to provide best in class space to cutting edge businesses such as Arm.”
