Tilia Homes buys 103-home residential scheme in Arlesey, Bedfordshire

Colecar Strategic Land have announced the completion of sale for the 103-home residential part of their site in Arlesey, Bedfordshire to Tilia Homes.

Site assembly was conducted by Jonathan Lord from Amplius. Planning consent was granted from Central Bedfordshire Council on 1^st April earlier this year. Colecar’s planning director Jenny Ellender was supported by Woods Hardwick. The planning application reference is CB/23/03541/OUT.

The wider scheme will also deliver a 64-bed care home and 30 affordable homes comprising a mix of affordable rental homes and shared ownership. In addition, more than £2.7 million in Section 106 contributions shall be paid, including more than £1 million to primary and secondary education.

Savills Cambridge were appointed to market the scheme to secure the buyer. Shakespeare Martineau’s Hannah Brassington-MacDonald delivered the legal negotiations and agreements.
