Hillwood has let a 13,000 sq ft unit at Access @ Eastern Gateway in Ipswich.

TPS, a trade-only supplier of genuine Volkswagen Group parts and products in Suffolk, has taken a 15-year lease on Unit 6a at the park, which was speculatively built last year, and will take immediate occupation.

Vanessa Penn, managing director of leasing agent Penn Commercial, which acted alongside Lambert Smith Hampton and Savills, said: “This represents a significant investment on the part of TPS Ipswich who will be relocating their business from their existing smaller unit on Farthing Road.

“It is testament to their confidence in the future of the strategic Access @ Eastern Gateway scheme, and we wish them every success in their brand-new, upgraded premises.”

Two further units are under offer, leaving one 52,491 sq ft unit available for immediate occupation.  The scheme is part of the wider Eastern Gateway commercial park, which is now established as Ipswich’s premier industrial and logistics location.
