A 34-bedroom care home in Oxfordshire has been sold through Christie & Co for an undisclosed price.
Three-storey Enstone House, a long-established care home, is registered to care for up to 36 residents.
James Buist-Brealey, associate director for Christie & Co, dealt with the sale to mother and son duo, Renu and Rishi Khosla, who, between them, own 21 care homes across England.
James said: “It was a pleasure to be involved in the sale of Enstone House and to support my client throughout the process. I wish the very best of luck to the new owners, who I’m confident will continue the success established by the previous owners.
“This sale further demonstrates the exceptional level of demand we’re seeing for care homes across the West Midlands and the Cotswolds, with quality assets continuing to attract strong buyer interest.”
New owner Rishi Khosla said: “We are delighted to have acquired Enstone House and to be building on the strong foundations already in place. The home has an excellent reputation within the local community, and our immediate priority is to ensure continuity for residents and staff while maintaining the high standard of person-centred care already being delivered.
“Looking ahead, we plan to invest in upgrading the facilities over time and to work closely with local partners and the wider community to help develop additional services that benefit residents, staff, and the community as a whole, while preserving the character and values of the home.”
