The King George development in Lotmead, Swindon will receive an additional 187 affordable homes. Delivered by Vistry and its joint-venture partner SNG

The new increase in housing is in part due to funding from Homes England that supports the Governments target of delivering 1.5 million homes and will be only part of Vistrys’ work on the 2,500 home development, as already they hold reserved matters consent for the first 497 homes.

Of the initial 497 homes Vistry holds reserved matters consent for, 72 of these will be private sale homes, through Vistrys own Bovis Homes brand, 329 will be affordable homes delivered in partnership with SNG, and the remaining 96 plots will be split between PRS and additional affordable homes.

With the additional 187 homes being confirmed for Vistry and SNG, 137 of these will be for shared ownership, the remaining 50 being for affordable rent. All of these homes will meet leading SNG’s Homes and Place standard.
