Following a February meeting of Bracknell Forest Council’s planning committee, the hub is now approved and will be located on Priory Fields.
Warfield Parish Council will own and operate the hub, and it will be a joint project with Bracknell Forest Council. The hub will provide a range of facilities for people of all age groups, including a café, sports hall, dance studio, sports pitches, parking and cycle stands.
Designs for the hub will prioritise environmental factors, and aim for zero carbon emissions when operational, as well as a BREEAM Excellent rating
The hub will be built by Neilcott Construction, who contributed to achieving planning permission for the site.
