The first phase of Woking Leisure Centre’s £1.2m refurbishment is now complete.

The Centre is managed by Everyone Active on behalf of Woking Borough Council. Both of these parties have funded the refurbishment, they have chosen to implement it in phases to minimise disruption and keep the centre running alongside the process.

Primary phase details

The primary refurbishment phase has enhanced all group exercise studios, as well as fully refurbishing the gym- which is now open, featuring Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment.

The new equipment includes additional squat racks and benches, treadmills, and Watt bikes, to meet additional demand. There is also additional functional fitness equipment to meet the rise in Hyrox participants seeking training areas.
