Work has begun on a McCarthy & Stone retirement village in Sunningdale.
The scheme of one and two bedroom apartments for people aged 60 or over is now subject of a competition for a new name – with £250 up for grabs for the winner.
Samantha Watkins, divisional sales director for McCarthy Stone, said: “We are excited to give locals the opportunity to name our latest retirement living development in Sunningdale.
“We are looking for a name which will be relevant to the local community; and it can be anything from suggestions that honour local landmarks or scenery, to names incorporating elements of the area’s rich history. This is a great chance for someone to put their stamp on a little bit of future local history.”
To enter, email mccarthyandstone@mccann.com with ‘Sunningdale naming competition’ in the subject line and your suggested development name in the email along with the reason behind it.
Name, address and contact details should be included. Deadline is Sunday, April 16.
Please include ‘Sunningdale naming competition’ in the subject header, in addition to your name and contact details in the email. The competition is open to people of all ages from the local and surrounding areas, and the deadline for entries is Sunday 16th April 2023.
Prospective purchasers can register their interest now to receive updates on when the apartments will be available to buy off-plan.
